Word Cases / Woordenkasten
A modular signage system for the graphic art center Frans Masereel Centrum in Kasterlee, Belgium.

Inspired by traditional letterpress printing, where individual characters of a font were stored in type cases, our signage system is based on what we call "word cases" ( or "woordenkasten" in Dutch).
This system allows the Frans Masereel Center to move around and combine predefined words and symbols instead of individual letters and create infinite variations inside the new singage panels.
